Woodcock-Johnson IV Tests of Achievement
Dr. Pittman administers the WJ IV in a supportive learning environment, recognizing that many students experience test anxiety. The WJ IV meets annual testing requirements for NC homeschoolers, and Dr. Pittman is an ESA+ provider for students participating in this program.
There are two test packages available with an option of adding an in-depth 30-minute parent conference within one week of the test date.
Dr. Pittman is located in the High Point/Thomasville area.

package options
WJ IV BASIC
This assessment meets the annual testing requirements for NC homeschoolers, and it can be administered at any time during the year. This package includes 9 subtests designed to evaluate math, reading, and written language. The test session generally lasts approximately 60-75 minutes.
Cost= $99
WJ IV EXTENDED
This form includes all of the tests in the basic package plus additional tests including Science, Social Studies, and Humanities. A sample score report for the extended form is included below. The test session generally lasts approximately 2+ hours.

PARENT CONSULTATION
If you would like to have a parent consultation to take an in-depth look at the test results, you can schedule a parent meeting to be held in-person or via Zoom within one week of the test date. This time can be used to discuss how to use the results to drive instruction, fill in missing building blocks for your child, and more. The parent consultation option is listed on the registration form.

Learning Style Inventories
The learning style inventories take about 45-60 minutes to administer and can be completed in-person or via Zoom. At a later date, typically within one week, a 30-minute parent meeting will be held in-person or via Zoom to discuss the results and the implications for learning. The inventories provide a snapshot of how your child learns best at this time, and we can also look at results from a growth mindset perspective to look at opportunities for strengthening other areas.
Dr. Pittman is an ESA+ provider for students participating in this program, and she is located in the High Point/Thomasville area. The inventories can be administered in-person or via Zoom.
